Twenty-nine bedrock mortars, three probable bedrock-mortars.
Ten small mortars on one rock could be considered cupules.
Elevation 1477 ft.
Our name for this site comes from Table 1 of the 1992 report Evaluation, Request for Determination of Eligibility, and Effect for the Los Vaqueros Project.

A close up of two shallow, cone-shaped mortars probably used for pounding acorns.
This piece of obsidian may have been a tool–possibly a Stockton Crescent. It was recovered from one of the shallow mortars pictured above, removed from the site, and properly curated by a licensed collector.
Several mortar rocks lie about 150′ to the northwest, closer to the creek.
It’s hard to make out the small mortars/cupules, but they are there. Does their geometric arrangement mean anything?
